Design the product and architecture together.
I designed the product around controlled transfer lifecycles: authenticated users create protected deliveries, recipients receive scoped access, and teams retain visibility into delivery and download events across private-server or cloud deployments.
What had to be true.
- Separate file storage from transfer authorization and recipient access.
- Make link policy, identity verification and activity history first-class product concepts.
- Support deployment choices without creating different application behavior for each storage model.
